Care: Hand wash only. Do not soak or place in dishwasher. Re-oil as needed to maintain finish. We recommend applying a Food-Safe Oil to penetrate and protect the wood from drying, cracking, and absorbing moisture or bacteria.
Best options (all food-safe):
- Mineral oil (USP-grade) - inexpensive, easy to find, and odorless.
- Fractionated coconut oil - won't go rancid like regular cooking oils.
- Walnut oil or tung oil - natural options, but avoid for customers with nut allergies.
